Summer Evening Special in June, July & August
to Trelissick Restaurant or Smuggler's Cottage- you decide.
Is there a better way to spend an evening than on the water in this "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty", combined with dinner at either Trelissick or Smuggler's?
Trelissick Gardens have been owned by the National Trust since 1955 when they were donated to it by the Copeland family. The family still own Trelissick House. For 2012 a brand new restaurant is opening for evening meals.
Smuggler's Cottage is on the Tregothnan Estate owned by Lord Falmouth, and the estate took over its running in 2010. They have completely refurbished the interior and grounds making it an even more delightful spot to visit than it was before.
Your trip will depart St. Mawes at 1830 aboard "Paramour". We will head out past St. Mawes Castle and open the throttle for a blast down to St. Just and on to Turnaware Bar. If it's high tide we may pop into St. Just Creek for a stunning view of the church on the way, or on the way back.
From Turnaware we have to proceed within the speed limit of 8 knots. We arrive at the Smuggler's or Trelissick pontoon for 1900. (At Trelissick there is an approx. 10min walk from the pontoon to the restaurant, through the beautiful grounds)
You may then have a drink, order dinner and admire the stunning setting before we depart between 2100 & 2130, to arrive back in St. Mawes half an hour later, after a beautiful twilight cruise home.
Price per passenger is £12.00 return (£4.00pp discount on usual price). Minimum number of passengers required 5 (or £60.00), maximum 8. The first passengers to book have the choice of where we go.
All purchases are extra. Bookings in advance only, call or email. Wear something warm and, if going to Trelissick especially, sensible shoes.
