We've had a fun day today- amongst the paddlers, RIB trips and water taxi work Veryan found time to volunteer to don an old fashioned diving suit, weighing more than her, and take part in the demonstration by Falmouth divers.

The Historic Diving Display on the slipway has become an annual even in St. Mawes and is always great fun. I end up sharing the slipway with all manner of divers in various suits and helmets and a crowd usually gathers along the harbour wall to watch.

Have a look at the Facebook page for more pictures of Veryan looking very fetching in rubber with a large metal goldfish bowl on her head. I told her to wait until the tide went out and she could walk around at the bottom of the slipway without all that gear on... she wouldn't listen!!!
