We are well in to the season now and it's shaping up to be a good one once again. I can't believe how quickly the year is going, although we say that every year!

Now we are into August it is particularly prudent to book up in advance. We have had a few disappointed people turn up for kayaks only to find we have none left. I am also busy with Paramour, and Veryan and Beth are doing a sterling job running things on shore.

This week is Carnival week in St Mawes so a lot going on every day; from the harbour swim and crabbing on the quay to BBQs and live bands. I have also been taking people out to see the ship they are using to film a new Brad Pitt blockbuster, due for cinema release next year. It has a zombie theme and is set in Russia in the winter so they're filming in Falmouth in the summer... still, they can do wonders with CGI these days! I don't think Brad has been spotted in St Mawes yet and I haven't been asked to bring him and Angelina over in Paramour either!

Next week is Falmouth Week and Wednesday our favourite- The Red Arrows! Hopefully we'll anchor in a good spot in the bay again to watch the display.

Have a great summer, Mark.
