Newly refurbished and "The" place to be seen on the St. Mawes harbourside. Perfect for coffee and a cake (Caramel Flapjack- mmm...) after kayaking.
The hotel is currently undergoing a massive refurbishment programme. Opening June 2013 under new management.
Be sure to visit The St. Mawes Hotel- friendly bar and good food. You will sometimes find myself and the "Ferry Boys" there enjoying our High Tide breakfast on a Sunday morning, and occasionally the odd evening too!
www.halwynsteagarden.com A hidden gem on the River Fal. Get there on "Paramour" or by kayak when you're on "the Upper Fal Paddle".
Why not take "Paramour" over to Castaways at Mylor Yacht Harbour? Relax in the chilled out surroundings and order something delicious from the extensive menu. (see Summer Evening Specials)
Be transported back in time to the 13th. Century. Visit the Pandora Inn, the world famous historic thatched pub in beautiful Restronguet Creek. "Paramour" can drop you right on the pontoon outside. (see Summer Evening Specials)
A popular trip from St. Mawes is to take the RIB down to Helford Passage. Sample the delights of The Ferryboat, walk off lunch on one of the many beautiful footpaths or visit a garden. Perhaps take the ferry over to Helford village, or even walk back to Falmouth to catch the ferry to St. Mawes or I can pick you up later.
The Harbour View Cafe & Bar situated near Custom House Quay in Falmouth. Why not take the ferry from St. Mawes in the afternoon, stop on for the evening and a wonderful meal at The Harbour View, topped off with a moonlight trip across the bay with the St Mawes Water Taxi.
