About St Mawes Sit-on Kayaks

 After spending many years entertaining on Cruise Ships and in hotels and clubs around the country Mark, who has had boats of one description or another for over 30 years, came to St. Mawes nearly 5 years ago and didn't want to leave! He set up St Mawes Sit-on Kayaks to allow anyone to take advantage of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty from a different point of view. In a kayak you are at one with your surroundings and can observe things only glimpsed from land. There are some fine, crystal clear and sheltered waters just waiting to be explored.

His safe and stable sit-ons can be hired from the quay for 2 hours to 2 weeks! They can be used up to 150 metres off shore anywhere in UK waters, so can be taken by boat or on the car roof to the location of your choice. All equipment and basic instruction supplied. Fully insured, licensed and inspected.

He has for hire:
One and two person (plus child / dog) sit-ons from "Ocean Kayak" including all equipment required.
As you would expect he has full public liability insurance through Lloyds of London and is inspected by the Truro and St. Mawes Harbour Masters.

Prices start from £10 for up to 2 hrs, to 2 days and over from £20 / day.

Open 7 days / week 0900 - 1700
Easter / April 1st. (whichever is earlier) - September 30th. inc. Weather permitting.

Also some Friday and Saturday evenings- an evening paddle can be delightful!
